Hey there, Matt-

I was reading your comments on Titusonenine and admiring your ability to maintain a reasonable tone. It's very hard to keep your head when so many are losing theirs.

I am puzzled as to why so many of my conservative friends have set the African bishops so high-some of them seem quite holy to me, and some of them seem like canny politicians (sometimes both).

Why do we keep seeking other saviours when we have a Saviour?
I also think that the strange bedfellows pairings work when they are saying what we want to hear-but could get very strained if these bishops starting condemning American conservatives' often secular and materialist lifestyles. We are no more immune to the siren song of cultural compromise than many liberals.

On the eve of polls, parties have started a digital media war. With the Election Commission approving 40 short videos, the ruling AIADMK has hit out at the DMK for its failures and misdeeds. The videos also list out the achievement of the AIADMK governments headed by J Jayalalithaa in the past and Edappadi K Palaniswami now.
